Communications Policy

Parents can talk to the school administration whenever they are curious about their children. Our teachers will not be able to answer your calls during the day to not interrupt the daily programs. Parents will be notified of any unusual condition of their children such as fever or injury, during the day.

Communication with Parents

All announcements and the sharing of up-to-date information will be done by e-mail and “Mobildiri Application” rather than paper handouts. Please remember to keep your active e-mail account with our records to receive all the communication from our school.

Mobildiri application is used for sending:

Daily reports,

Collages/pictures,

Permission slips for field trips,

Pedagogy

Every child’s development is just as vital to their wellbeing. In BrightKids we observe your child’s physical, social, cognitive and emotional growth throughout the year.

All children go through developmental “stages” – typical and predictable changes in different areas.

Considering the milestones, we discuss children’s progress at school and find solutions to academic or behavioral problems in our parent-teacher conferences twice a year. Our pedagogy staff is available throughout the year for your questions and concerns.

Food at BrightKids

At BrightKids all our food is homemade, daily cooked using traditional recipe and follow a low-sugar diet. We cook with vegetables in season and strictly avoid frozen or readily packed food.

School Bus Service

BrightKids is providing school bus service for the parents on demand. Please contact school administration to receive more information about the service route.

Ilness Policy

Parents are kindly requested to keep their children at home if they have any infection or virus, and inform us about the nature of the infection so that we can notify other parents if necessary.

Children with the following conditions are not allowed to attend the school:

Diarrhea and/or Vomiting Parents are requested not to bring their child to school who has been vomiting or had diarrhea until a period of at least 48 hours elapsed since the last attack.

Infectious illness

Please wait until all symptoms of an infectious disease such as chicken pox, mumps or measles etc disappear before bringing your child back to school.

Conjunctivitis

Conjunctivitis is a highly infectious eye disease. Please refrain from bringing your child to school if you recognize any symptoms, most notably a red eye.

Fever

Fever or temperature of 38° centigrade/101° Fahrenheit or over. Please wait for 24 hours after the fever is normalized before bringing your child to school.

Head lice

Please use chemical medicine and special shampoo to make sure that all lice is cleared before bringing your child to school.
